Our baby girl fell from the couch to the coffee table on Tuesday afternoon. We spent about four hours in the ER getting stiches. Well, the stitches took a total of about 10 minutes. The rest of the time we spent entertaining an almost 3 year old and dodging sick people. Ick. Fortunately my mom was here and was able to stay with Kate and Christopher. Erin got four stitches just under her bottom lip. There are also some teeth puncture wounds inside her lower lip. This picture of Erin is so pitiful. She really is ok and doing much better than we thought she would. I have some sweet pictures on my cell phone of her in the ER that I'll try to post at some point. She didn't even cry at the hospital. Not once. She's tough like her mom. ;)
Maddie did almost the same thing at that age but it was right under her chin. The Dr. gave her a sucker for every stitch, good memories.:)
ReplyDeleteI have a nice scar under my chin. My brother pushed me off the piano bench and I hit the corner. And I'm pretty sure I cried A LOT! At least you had no violence at your sweet house! lol What a little trooper!
