Annoying: When a parent calls me from their car in the parking lot of the school to let me know something about the kid. GET OUT OF THE CAR. Walk to the classroom. Really.
Sweet: One of the kids wants Christmas shoes from Santa. Not Bratz or Barbies or a pony, just Christmas shoes.
Funny: "Teacher, is that your 'firm' voice?"
Crazy: Driving my kids to work with me and parking the car. They should've been taken to daycare first. Oops. "Mommy, are you taking me to kindergarten today?!?"
Scary: Only 7 more weeks til the next report cards have to be written.
Nice: It's not raining yet. We can have outdoor recesses. YIPPEE!!!
Frustrating: I lost a student this week that I feel could really benefit from a stable place in school. He's sooo bright and was one of those kids that bring a smile to your face on a daily basis. Yes, there were those irritating moments with him (he had the LOUDEST voice in the class) but he had such a good attitude about school and a love of learning.
Happy: It's the WEEEKEEEENNNDDD!!!!!!
