Updates and MRI Pictures

Our little sweetie pie went to the MRI yesterday. They wheeled him down to the radiology place in a little clear box - or better known as an isolete.

The procedure took an hour and we waited in the hospital room until he was done. Afterward he was very sleepy and we gave him big kisses and left him to rest. Here's his bed in the NICU. The nurses put in a picture of Kate and Erin for him to look at. Or maybe for them to look after him. :)

Great news! Today we found out that the MRI showed normal brain structure. Yay! So now we're still waiting on some blood test results. Dr. Sosa said today that he may just have some things wrong that will work themselves out. Please, please, please let that be what is happening and not something else. Today the nurse stopped his IV that was feeding him sugar water to keep up his blood sugar levels. So we are hoping that overnight tonight his levels stay pretty consistent so that he can come home (he also has to be gaining weight to come home - and those casts added at least a half a pound).

  2. Wow, and I was upset that Aaron came home with a broken collar bone! This little guy is getting the full treatment. So glad for the good news! That's what I've been feeling, that he's going to grow out of all these little issues he's had so far. A year from now things will look soooo different! Even a month from now!
